Jennifer Hewitt grew up in Dothan, Alabama, and attended Auburn University where she completed a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. She also attended a study abroad program in Florence, Italy, where she studied art history and drawing.
She completed a Master’s degree in Health Science with concentration in Physician Assistant studies from the University of South Alabama. She moved to Birmingham in 2007 and worked at Gastroenterology Associates until Summer 2011.
Jennifer has always had an interest in Dermatology and is very excited to be a part of Surgical Dermatology Group. She serves our patients by providing general dermatology care and surgical follow-up as well as many common dermatology procedures.
She is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Jennifer enjoys cooking, traveling, and playing the piano.
